While
volunteering at the Marinelife Center at Juno Beach, Education Program Manager
Isabelle Peaslee met science teacher Becky Chase from Warren, Rhode Island.
As they talked about their love of the sea turtle and the environment, Becky
asked if sea turtle literature could be sent to her school, the Mary V. Quirk
School. Isabelle put a package together that included foundation literature,
our "Do Not Disturb" door hanger, a sea turtle patch, a vanity sea turtle
license plate and a sea turtle book.
As you can see by the pictures below, the students loved the package and the class will raffle off the license plate and book at the end of the year. Thanks to the students for their interest in sea turtles and the environment.
